Try our Potter’s Wheel…

Splash of Colour offer taster sessions on our Potters Wheel – great fun and just a little bit messy!

You will have 1 to 1 tuition from one of our experienced staff. They will demonstrate the basics for getting your clay positioned on the wheel and the techniques for making a pot. Whilst waiting for your turn on the wheel you will have a 6 inch tile to paint with ceramic paints. This will be glazed and fired for you.

The pot you make on the wheel takes a while to be bisque fired (please allow upto 5 weeks for the drying out and firing process to be completed before it is ready to paint).

You can collect the tile 12 days after you have made it.

You are welcome to make a return visit to paint your pot for a studio fee of £3.50 (includes paints, glazing and firing).

All pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe.
